‌Young Social Innovators Regional Speak Out Fora 2013

YSI Speak Outs are about promoting advocacy among young people and giving them the skills and confidence to advocate on their chosen social issue. YSI teams have two minutes to present the civic action projects they are undertaking as part of the YSI Social Innovation Programme and tell others about the actions they are taking to bring positive change to their communities and beyond.

Annual Showcase of Young Social Innovators 2013

The Annual Showcase of Young Social Innovators is the biggest celebration of social innovation and civic action in Ireland and one of the largest youth events in the country.All Young Social Innovators participants are invited to attend this event to celebrate their efforts throughout the year to bring positive change to communities throughout Ireland on local, national and international social issues. The event features a spectacular Awards Ceremony at which the title of Young Social Innovators of the Year 2013 will be awarded.

Dialogue on the Future of Europe

This conference is one of the series of events organised around Europe to discuss EU citizenship and rights and build a vision of how the EU should be in 2020. The Minister of State for Small Business, John Perry TD, will speak on the theme of the Irish Presidency and European citizenship.

Youth Unemployment Roundtable Event

The National Youth Council of Ireland’s (NYCI) roundtable event ‘Youth Guarantee: From Vision to Reality’ taking place this Wednesday, 12th June at 10.00 am in Woodquay Venue, Dublin 8, brings together representatives of Government Departments, members of the Oireachtas, state agencies, youth workers, youth and community organizations, academics and think tanks to discuss how to make the vision of a youth guarantee a reality for young jobseekers.
